Just a few days now to my heroic and possibly foolhardy attempt to complete a 15th marathon (after a 6-year absence) and continue this year’s fund raising for Bridge2Aid. I’m still basking in the rosy glow of raising £25,000 in two days last week – and hugely grateful to the 11 practices who have committed and will receive free coaching services from me. We will be announcing the winner of the extra £1950 of coaching services in the next few days. Every little helps (as they say) and a £5.00 contribution is as important to me and the charity as a larger donation. To those who have already helped Annie and I to reach almost £4000 of our target for this year – thank you. I know you are probably suffering from CoachBarrow charity fatigue – I’m sorry and I’ll back off for a while after Sunday. Excited to be running with my 20-year old son Joshua and hoping he will wait for me! Equally to be running with Megan Hatfield from Wetherby Orthodontics as she takes to the marathon road for the first time. If you can help us – please do http://www.justgiving.com/coachbarrow
