Sometimes, there's a price to pay to love another person.
The price includes toleration of their performance and/or behaviour.
Equally, there can be a price to pay to love what you do for a living - your occupation, vocation or your business.
The price includes the toleration of long hours, hard tasks, uncertainty, and periods of self-doubt.
I observe that we are currently in the throes of a cost of loving crisis.
Our energy levels are depleted and our mental resilience is stretched.
It's all too easy to seek relief in escape - to disconnect from the person you love or the thing you do.
Remember that what brought you to this point was the love.
Remind yourself of what that love feels like.
Let's do this.
