Don't look back:
to target-related NHS general dentistry - the UDA is dead;
to intensive and regular face to face contact with patients - the integration of digital dentistry and contactless communication into the workflow and the patient journey are accelerating rapidly;
to the previous contracts and remuneration of hygienists/therapists and associates;
to those who we thought were our leaders - who do we now trust and respect to take us forward?
to dentistry as an attractive career option for the ambitious - it's beginning to look like a vocation again and not just a way to generate quick cash flow before and after kids or a means to fund an investment property portfolio.
Hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful. Honour and recognition in event of success.
only the brave need apply
