Thinking Business
a blog by Chris Barrow

A great weekend and a business that knows how to do business

It's not very often that I use this blog to write a review or recommendation - but here's a shout out for Center Parcs, Whinfell Forest, Penrith, Cumbria.

I've just been there for the Bank Holiday weekend with my eldest son Jon and his family.

Accommodation - 10/10;

Location - 10/10;

Facilities - 10/10;

Hospitality - 10/10;

Neighbours - 10:10.

Ok - made even better by the weather - but from the arrival to the departure every single member of the Center Parcs team made us feel as if our custom was truly appreciated.

Outstanding.

On our drive home yesterday, we booked for the same weekend next year, having been offered a very small early-bird discount and the opportunity to lock in the property we wanted.

This is a business that understands what a good business looks like - and it's interesting to note that they don't come cheap.

I thought the prices weren't unreasonable - I was curious to see what they were after the last line of the blog, so did a simple search for a few nights in August and it was about £60 per person per night assuming full occupancy. I'm not sure what it's competing against, but it isn't a youth hostel. That seems not unreasonable for a person that wants that particular holiday.

geometry dash

Players can start geometry dash subzero on any of three levels. Starting in sequence of increasing difficulty helps them learn the controls and timing of the game for the optimum experience. Player controls the character by hitting the spacebar or left mouse button to jump and holding for many hops. This control method won't be consistent throughout the level because the button behaves differently based on the character's form.
