Never underestimate the person you are talking to

As always, I asked my Uber driver:

CB - "Nobody left school wanting to be a cab driver, so what did you want to do when you left school, and how did you end up as a cab driver?"

He replied:

Driver - "I have a post-graduate qualification in AI-engineering."

CB - "So why are you driving an Uber?"

Driver - "Because I make more money but it also gives me the time flexibility to pursue my side hustle."

CB - "And what is that?"

Driver - "I spend 20-30 hours a week as an online Forex trader."

CB - "And where do you get the money to do that?"

Driver - "I don't use my own money - I manage "Prop Funds" - packets of £100,000 owned by Proprietary Trading Companies, who allow me to manage the fund and take 80% of the profit I make."

CB - "And if you don't mind me asking, how much would you make in an average month to supplement your Uber earnings?'

Driver - "At the moment I'm at about £6,000 - 8,000 per month."

It's amazing what you hear when you take the trouble to ask.
