The morning after

This morning's blog a little later than usual, after a late Sunday night finish to an eventful day for fans of football.

It's over. Back to work now please.

There will be, of course, still more sport, music, leisure and holidays to deal with (plus occasional bouts of Covid).

We have 7 more weeks of summer distractions to get through before September dawns, the kids go back to school and we can all start to focus on work properly.

Don't beat yourself up (or anyone else for that matter) if things aren't going exactly right for the next two and a half months.

Use the time wisely to plan your Autumn campaign.

In fact (to repeat an old cliche) - plan the time to plan - book some quality time in the next few weeks to get your team/advisors together in order to discuss and prepare from your last 4 months of 2024.

When that's done, you can finish the year with a bang - and enter 2025 with confidence.
