The Ideal Patient

A client recently described me as her “ideal patient”. Having faked my humility for a few moments, I then asked her to describe why, and she replied:

  • You’re a baby-boomer (born between 1947-1957 – (I’m 1953);

  • You are an affluent empty-nester;

  • You are as fit as a fiddle for your age;

  • You want to be able to smile on camera and eat in public with full confidence;

  • You want to carry on looking good and feeling good for another 30 years;

  • You are looking for “the best experience” and not “the cheapest price” in life;

  • You are going to need increasingly complex and expensive solutions to your dental objectives (clean, white, straight and natural looking teeth).

Nothing then about my stunning good looks 🙄 but I understood the feedback.
