The Hebridean Way

This morning I drive to Elgin, North East Scotland to meet my friend, former dental trainer and cycling buddy, Sheila Scott.

Tomorrow we begin a 600-mile cycling tour of Scotland which, over the following 10 days will take us down to Oban and then across by ferry to Barra and the start of the famous Hebridean Way.

On 14th June we will hopefully be on a ferry back to the mainland from Stornoway to Ullapool and then back across to our start point.

Sleep, nutrition, exercise and fun with good company amongst stunning scenery. An adventure around every corner.

The blog will be taking a break until 19th June - but watch out for an occasional video diary across social media - just keeping you posted on our progress and sharing highlights.

So many people have asked whether we are fundraising - that is so kind but the answer is "not this time" - just the craic.

I'll be missing the FA Cup Final as I drive North today - I don't care - this is better.

Phillippa and Rachel will be around to assist clients and others - stay safe and well until I get back.
