The Complete Money Course 2.0 launches with fresh insights for dental practice owners

A new era for understanding the numbers that drive your dental practice

My week begins at The Campbell Academy in Nottingham, where I'm filming a 2025 remake of The Complete Money Course, a beginner's guide to understanding practice finances.

The original course has been the most viewed on our e-learning platform at The Extreme Business Academy, and today marks the beginning of a collaborative project between our two organisations, to update much of the material that I have created online over the last 8 years.

As I have prepared for the day, it has been fascinating to review the original course material and realise how little has changed in the nuts and bolts of digging into the numbers, and yet how much those numbers have themselves changed.

Over the day ahead, I'll be updating:

1. Understanding your profit and loss statement;

2. Measuring Key Performance Indicators;

3. Creating Budgets and Cash Flows;

4. Monitoring Average Daily Production;

5. Calculating Operating Cost Per Surgery Per Day;

6. Measuring Clinician Profitability;

It remains true that every new client I work with begins their journey with me on "the numbers", as I consider this the foundation upon which all else rests.

Once I am satisfied that a client knows what and when to count and how to interpret the data, we can then confidently move forward to work on every other aspect of their business.
