Suit of Armour

There's a risk this week (and most weeks).

Somebody, at some stage, will say or do something that will be like an icicle in the heart for you.

Patient, clinician, team member, supplier, advisor, family, friend, colleague, neighbour, stranger.

It may be deliberate or unintentional.

It may be direct or to a third-party.

For a moment, it will unsettle you.

It will give "The Chimp" the upper hand and fuel the ever-present embers of your imposter syndrome.

But the reason I call it an icicle - is because it always melts.

Having said that, it can be a good idea to wear a suit of armour when you turn up for life every morning - just a bit of extra protection.

A good week is one in which it doesn't happen at all.

I wish you an icicle-free week.
