How AI note-taking is quietly transforming private healthcare

Yesterday I shared my experience whilst joining MyGP Clinic, a local provider of private GP services.
On arrival at their reception on Saturday morning, having chatted with their receptionist and checked in, I noticed a sign on the front desk, indicating that I would soon be meeting with Heidi.ai as well as my doctor.
Dr. Mike Rampling appeared from his consult room and walked over to shake my hand and introduce himself.
I then accompanied him in to the consult room and, as we sat down, he asked me if it would be OK for Heidi to record our meeting, which, of course, began with a click of his mouse.
A review of the Heidi website will explain that it is pretty much the same note-taking software that is now available to dentistry, either incorporated into their PMS, as a proprietary system or simply through a note-taking device such as a Plaud.
In fact, Heidi itself has an option for dentists.
So I think it's safe to say that AI-driven note-taking software is now part of the furniture in modern private healthcare.
As it is in modern business, recording every transaction between humans - clinical, management, admin or support.
Which begs a question - are you using it every day?
