Fully Focused Planning - here comes Q3

I’m frequently contacted by people who have products and services of relevance to my clients. For over 20+ years I have maintained a policy that I do not accept introducers fees or commissions – I simply broadcast and comment on good ideas.

Yesterday, the latest copy of my Full Focus Planner came out of its packaging and I spent a few minutes setting things up for this Monday morning.

Back on 1st April and when Q2 of 2020 started, I ignored the annual and quarterly goals pages in that quarter's planner - they remain blank to this day.

After all, we were a few days into lockdown and nobody could make any other plans than to just survive. Survive we did.

This time around, I feel more confident about setting specific goals for Q3 and for the rest of this year. Over the next week, I'll be taking the time to flesh them out and report to my business coach and team.

There's no doubt that the planner helped me through lockdown to stay focused on what had to happen each day in spite of the tsunami of information that drowned us all.

I became a machine, repeating the same routine day after groundhog day. It was 12 weeks of dedicated resilience.

This morning (as soon as I've published this post) I'll pop outside, set the Wattbike up under the awning in the garden and complete my 1,000 km bike ride challenge for June.

Today at 13:00, we broadcast our final Daily Briefing and I'll be asking Sarah Buxton, Alan Suggett and Simon Thackeray to join me for a final celebration and commiseration as we draw to a close, respecting the fact that, over the last few weeks, our live audience numbers have declined, simply because you are going back to work.

The Thursday evening Forums will continue as long as they are useful.

Tomorrow is the final day of the Regeneration 1.0 lockdown coaching programme.

Wednesday is the first day of the Regeneration 2.0 return to work coaching programme.

It's a sell out and, as I mentioned last Friday, I have a full practice now until the end of the year.

On 1st July we begin a new way of work in earnest, helping over 150 practices to bounce back higher - I'm really looking forward to that.

This week we begin Q3 of 2020 and I'll be focusing every day on my three most important tasks.

My Full Focus Planner will be invaluable.
