Free mental health webinar to mark World Suicide Prevention Day – register now for this Sunday!

Dental team members are invited to register now with Psynergy Mental Health to attend a free webinar this September, marking World Suicide Prevention Day and raising awareness of where help is available for those who find themselves in crisis.

This is being hosted by Psynergy CEO, Dr Ritesh Aggarwal (Rick), and COO, Dr Danyal Akarca (Dan). Rick is a practising dentist and so has incredible insight into the day-to-day challenges of working in dentistry. Dan is a medical doctor by training, and works at the University of Cambridge, with insights into current research on topics relating to mental health.

Simply register now with www.psynergymentalhealth.com/webinar to gain access to the event on Sunday, 10th September 2023.

Creating hope through action

Psynergy Mental Health’s aim is to change how organisational mental health is understood and can be improved.

Through their digital platform, leaders are empowered to create mentally healthy organisations that enable all to reach their potential through a personalised approach. Crucially, solutions are made specific to dental practices, are designed to be simple to implement, and are tailored over time to ensure maximum benefit.

Dr Aggarwal commented: “World Suicide Prevention Day offers us an opportunity to raise awareness of suicide and suicide prevention. During the webinar I will be linking in with the theme of ‘creating hope through action’.

“I will do this by reflecting on what we can all do in Dentistry to ensure that we are all appropriately supported and can form an open, kind culture, where people do not feel isolated and fall through the net.

“Encouraging understanding and sharing experiences creates a society where people have the confidence to take action, building hope for the future.”

This is not an isolated problem. One in four people in the UK will have a mental health problem at some point in their life. While mental health problems are very common, most are mild, tend to be short-term and can be successfully treated. Yet only one in eight people with a mental health condition are receiving appropriate treatment.

If you are struggling, please do ask for help from your GP, family and friends. If someone you know seems to be struggling, although it can feel very challenging, please offer them whatever support you can and assist them in seeking professional help.

In the meantime, why not take a first step with Rick and Dan and Psynergy Mental Health by registering at www.psynergymentalhealth.com/webinar, allowing access to the free webinar on 10th September, when you can be sure of a warm welcome, helpful information and no judgement?

This webinar sounds like an incredible opportunity to raise awareness and provide practical support for mental health, especially in high-stress professions like dentistry. Supporting overall wellbeing can include physical health practices too, which is why I also recommend exploring options like San Diego Colonics for gentle detox and promoting overall balance. Every small step toward self-care counts.

This webinar sounds like a fantastic initiative for raising awareness and supporting mental health in dentistry. It’s so important to create safe spaces where struggles are acknowledged and help is accessible. Trauma-informed therapy can play a crucial role here, ensuring that care is sensitive to past experiences and truly meets the needs of those affected.

This is such an important initiative—raising awareness around mental health in dentistry is crucial. Webinars like this provide practical strategies and support that can really make a difference. I also appreciate how personalised approaches, similar to Custom Assay Development in research, ensure solutions are tailored to specific needs, creating lasting and meaningful impact.

Thank you for sharing this important initiative! Mental health support is vital, and approaches like Structural Integration Massage can complement traditional methods by reducing tension and improving overall wellbeing. Integrating such practices into daily routines can help dental professionals manage stress more effectively, promoting both mental and physical resilience alongside webinars like this one.

This webinar sounds like a fantastic initiative to raise awareness and support mental health, especially in high-pressure professions like dentistry. For anyone struggling with anxiety, connecting with a professional can make a real difference. Speaking from experience, a Psychiatrist For Anxiety can provide guidance and coping strategies, helping individuals regain balance and confidence in their daily lives.
