Choosing your date. Defining your number.

At 9:00am this morning, in the centre of Belfast, I’ll be standing in front of another room full of practice owners and managers — armed with laptops, notepads, financial data and the usual nervous energy that comes with blocking out a full day to work on the business, not in it.
And I can’t wait.
Because today we kick off my Q4 Owner’s Day tour: The Date and The Number.
This session is not about vague inspiration. It’s not about a dream of “someday” when you exit your business and sail off into the sunset.
It’s about clarity.
Planning. Numbers. Reality.
It’s about choosing a date — when you want to leave practice ownership (not necessarily clinical delivery) — and a number — how much you want to sell for.
Then working backwards, together, to build the roadmap that gets you there.
Every time I run a workshop like this 9and it's two years since we last did something like this), the same thing happens. There’s a moment, somewhere in the second half of the day, when the noise quietens down. When the penny drops. When the plan becomes real.
And when I look around the room, I see the shift — on faces, in posture, in the energy of the conversation.
It is no longer just a workshop.
It’s a wake-up call. A turning point.
Today is Day 2 of the Extreme Business Q4 workshop series — Day 1 being Mike Hesketh’s fantastic keynote yesterday on “Commando-Style Practice Growth.”
You could have heard that proverbial pin drop yesterday - in our WhatsApp Group -
"Fabulous day with Mike Hesketh in Belfast !! Thanks Mike for the next 90 day plan. Safe travels home."
And it’s the start of a 90-day sprint that could, if you choose, radically shift the direction of your business and your life.
If you're already in the room with me — welcome. You’re exactly where you need to be.
If you’re not yet part of this community, but the words “date” and “number” spark a thought in your mind — this is your invitation.
We’re opening our doors to a small number of new fee-paying trial members for Q4.
It takes 30-seconds to sign up and today is the final day to do so.
Come along. Sit with us. Ask the difficult questions. Make a plan.
The next 90 days start now.
And they matter more than you think.
