Why more competition in dentistry is a win for everyone – even you and I

Whenever a client announces "OMG - there's another dental practice opening nearby (or bought and due to be revitalised) my response is always:

"Excellent news - competition stimulates demand"

And I do firmly believe that, the more dentists there are in a postcode, the more people will go to the dentist.

The presence of competition is also a reminder to sharpen your own saw, to make sure that your systems, protocols and people are functioning well, that your products and services are state of the art and that you are innovating.

Competition is good for business.
