THINKING BUSINESS
a blog by Chris Barrow

A reflection on coaching from Jenny Yull – Business Manager at The Gallery and Meadow Walk

I first heard about Chris at the Dentistry Show back in 2011/12 and over the years attended his talks at The Dentistry Show as well as a “Growing the Business” day in Kensington in 2012.

I contacted Chris for our latest (2nd) cycle of coaching because:

I work at and treat Meadow Walk Dental/The Gallery Dental and Implant Centre (Buckingham) as if it is my own business.

However it isn’t my business and there were some decisions and direction we needed to implement to move forward rather than “tick” along.

Chris’s 20 years experience and straight talk will give you the confidence to plan and set a journey to grow your business.

As I have said previously, Chris will give you the tools to drive your business forward as his 20+ years of experience and coaching are tried and tested. His business model works!

What is it like being a client and member of his Tribe?

Another string to the bow. The Tribe will give you an insight into what is happening outside of your world.

Private Dentistry can feel isolating if you are an independent practice. Yes, there are many forums out there (too many) so stick with like minded people, read, engage and help the Tribe too with your guidance and experience – win win.

What’s it like being a client?

I could work and talk to Chris everyday. I am on the same hymn sheet. His coaching is motivating, supportive and the energy is infectious.

What difference has the coaching made?

Results!

We have grown the business by 200K in just 8 months.

We have grown the implant treatments and Invisalign.

We are out there with newsletters, testimonials, social media and a good website.

Daily huddles are in place.

The Principal has gained confidence to commence public speaking training to reach out.

This must never stop.

I am buzzing and this year I’ve already discussed with the team their success and started to set the next objectives and business plan from April.
