60 Days to go – calculating shortfalls

Our November newsletter – published this morning – features a long-form article on how to make the best of the final 60 days of the year.

On 1st November we all had 60 days until the end of the calendar year.

If I may use a marathon as a metaphor here, on 1st November you ran past the 22-mile marker. Well-wishers on the side-lines are shouting “nearly there!” but you know that there is still a lot to do.

Having completed 33 marathons, that final challenge is familiar territory. It’s the last hour, when the body just wants to stop running (because it hurts) and the mind has to take control.
