On Saturday 20 September 2025, hundreds of people will gather at Old Deer Park, London, to mark a milestone—the 20-year anniversary of the Mouth Cancer Walk. It isn’t just another charity event. It’s a call to action for an issue that still isn’t talked about enough.
Every year in the UK, over 8,300 people are diagnosed with mouth cancer. That’s one person every hour. Early detection saves lives, yet public awareness remains dangerously low. The Mouth Cancer Walk was created to change that—and two decades on, it is more vital than ever.
This year’s walk gives you the choice: take on 5 km, 10 km or 20 km through the park—or walk remotely from anywhere in the world. Whether you walk with family, friends, colleagues or by yourself, you’ll be part of a community determined to shine a light on a disease that has taken too many lives in silence.
What makes this event different? It isn’t just about raising money (though that matters). It’s about raising your voice. Every conversation started, every photo shared, every step taken helps bring awareness to the symptoms, risks and life-saving checks that can prevent tragedy.
The walk is family-friendly, purposeful and powerful. Registration is open now, and places are filling quickly.
So here’s the challenge: give up a morning, put one foot in front of the other, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with survivors, families and dental professionals determined to change the story.
Join us on 20 September and help turn awareness into action.
