This is bigger than a programme launch

Tomorrow morning, I will press the button on the public launch of Extreme Business 2027.

That sentence makes it sound as if a new programme simply appears: a newsletter goes out, a landing page goes live and the doors open.

The truth is rather different.

Behind Friday’s announcement is a large September mind map and an even larger amount of work taking place across The Campbell Academy. Not glamorous work. The detailed work that determines whether a promise made in marketing is actually kept in delivery.

We began on Tuesday with our existing Extreme Business clients. Before speaking to the wider dental profession, we wanted them to understand what comes next: confirmed dates, a clearer service menu, the new SLT (Senior Leadership Team) Academy, a remarkable line-up of clinical speakers and a website capable of explaining the whole offer properly.

In the next few days, we will ask those clients for their views too. The 2027 version should not be built in an echo chamber. The EB Client Survey will help us distinguish between traditions worth protecting, things that need improving and opportunities that have only become possible because Extreme Business is now "by The Campbell Academy."

The 2027 clinical programme is taking shape with contributions from Manish Chitnis, Cat Edney, Colin Campbell and Elaine Halley.

Alongside that, the SLT Academy will help senior leadership teams work through The Campbell Academy Business Clock© and turn strategy into the everyday rhythm of the practice.

At the same time, we are preparing our 2026 Q4 workshop,

"The Implementation Gap."

Slides are being refined. Workbooks are being completed. Rehearsals and filming are being scheduled. Why so much preparation? Because a workshop should never be a pleasant day away from the practice followed by a return to business as usual. It should install something.

We are also building a dedicated and brand new Exit Planning Module for our Clubhouse platform, supported by new teaching materials and filmed content. For many owners, exit planning remains something to think about “one day”. Our work will help them understand that value, freedom and succession are created years before a sale.

Meanwhile, The Extreme Business guide book, 2026 edition, is being proofed. That matters because the book is more than a collection of ideas. It captures the operating philosophy behind the programme and gives members something they can return to when the noise of practice ownership threatens to drown out clear thinking.

We are protecting time for proper one-to-one conversations with prospective new members of The Extreme Business community.

We are briefing our Strategic Alliance Partners.

We are sharpening the Business Education service menu.

Tomorrow is not the finish line. It is simply the moment when the curtain moves and the wider profession gets its first proper view.

What is being built at The Campbell Academy is not another course calendar.

It is a deeper and more connected place of learning for independent dentistry: clinical excellence, business education, leadership development and community, brought together with intent.

In the morning, I will show you more.
