Setting Stretch Goals: Can I Prepare for a Half-Marathon in Just Three Weeks?

I'm running a half-marathon in three weeks and I'm nowhere near fit enough.


Which is why, even though I don't feel like it (and I'm too busy) I'll be popping out in the cold for a training run just as soon as this blog is written and published.


Which is why we need to set stretch goals and targets.


Because without the challenge, it's so much easier to drift in to "same sh*t, different day".


I've actually been inspired by Annie, who has started Pilates classes over the last month - and when she sets the alarm for 07:00 on a Sunday morning to get there - I know it's time for me to get my proverbial in gear.


Note to self - the opposite of a target is to drift.
