I'm really excited about this week's road trip, that will start with a ferry crossing from Liverpool to Belfast tomorrow morning (Storm Kathleen willing) and then three full days in Northern Ireland.
Wednesday will be a strategic planning day with a long-standing client (and I may share some of that with you later in the week).
Thursday is our first Quarter 2 workshop with Sarah Buxton delivering a one-day special on HR in the current landscape - little did we know when we planned this last year, that Sarah's tour would coincide with new employment law legislation landing this very week.
Friday's Owners Day will be a one-day special by me on "Selling Your Business" - a complete guide to making sure that you can sell:
At the right time
For the right value
On the right terms
To the right buyer
I've had fun putting the day together and I'm especially excited that, on each of our Owner's Days over the 7 workshop locations, we will be joined on Zoom by:
10:00 – Mark Simic – Simpkins Edwards – for the accountant’s top tips and Q&A
12:00 – Thomas Coates – Buxton Coates – for the lawyer’s top tips and Q&A
14:00 - Abi Greenhough/Chris Mayor – Lily Head – for the valuer’s top tips and Q&A
16:00 - Gary Chapman – Portman:Dentex – for the corporate buyer’s top tips and Q&A
A full day at my desk today - emails, weekly trackers and tasks - then a client webinar at 19:00 this evening before I pack my bags.
It's going to be quite the week.
