Is your dental practice bold enough? Why going BIG could revolutionise your future

If you're boiling eggs anyway, why not boil ten? Why ambitious dental practices must think BIG

I presented "The 9 Revolutions in Modern Dentistry" at a GDP Study Club meeting last night - and shared the stage with Dr. John Flutter, who was talking about myofunctional orthodontics- a fascinating subject about which I knew nothing.

John shared with his audience what he claimed to be a Chinese proverb:

"To boil one egg takes 5 minutes - to boil 10 eggs takes 5 minutes."

He had his own reason for sharing that wisdom - but it reminded me of another phrase that had been used in a meeting I had attended earlier that day.

"If we are going to do this, we may as well go large or go home."

That was in connection with a business plan that will take at least 8 years of very hard work to bring to fruition.

We will probably get there through a series of marginal gains - but the end goal has to be Bold, Outrageous and Provocative (BOP) to make all the effort worth it.
