Yesterday I attended the 1st birthday party of the youngest of my 5 grandchildren.
We all think our grandkids are the most innocently beautiful things we have ever seen - of course we do. There's a few million years of evolution that have gone into that emotion.
As folks become older, and less innocent, it sometimes becomes more challenging to see the beauty in them - but it is just as important.
Perhaps most important of all though, is the ability to see the beauty in ourselves.
On a Monday morning, when you have to "go again" and manage your own Imposter Syndrome, other people's Dramas, and an endless sequence of transactions, notifications and decisions.......
