An Autumn plan for your best practice start in 2027

A new year can arrive with a list of ambitions: improve profitability, strengthen the management team, reduce dependence on the owner and get those unfinished projects moving.
The useful question is how those ambitions become a plan that somebody can follow.
As we look towards 2027, this is where the wider business education available through The Campbell Academy fits alongside Extreme Business. Together, the programmes connect the work of building a plan with the coaching, community and accountability needed to keep implementing it.
There are two ways to undertake that planning work.
The dental entrepreneurial bootcamp provides five days away from the practice, working through the fundamentals of running a dental business with Colin and the faculty. Finance, marketing, sales, people, leadership and strategy feed into a bespoke plan covering the next one to three years.
There is value in that protected time. Working dinners allow conversations and relationships to develop, and presenting your plan on the final day gives the week a clear destination. The next courses run in Nottingham from 2 to 6 November 2026 and Scotland from 9 to 13 November 2026, with 50 hours of verifiable cpd.
The iti digital dental entrepreneurial programme follows the same planning process online over seven weeks. Beginning on 26 October 2026, it combines modules and practical projects with two live webinars, providing 26 hours of verifiable cpd.
This format allows you to work around existing commitments without travelling or setting aside a whole working week. It does, however, require you to protect time in your diary and complete the work. Flexibility is useful when it is accompanied by self-discipline.
Both routes are designed to produce a documented business plan, with longer-term objectives translated into 90-day cycles. The choice depends on your circumstances, your preferred way of learning and the time you can commit.
For an existing Extreme Business member, the benefit is straightforward.
A written plan gives our coaching a much clearer point of reference. We can examine the priorities you selected, the responsibilities you allocated and the progress you intended to make. Conversations become more specific, and it becomes easier to recognise when daily demands are taking you away from your agreed direction.
Extreme Business Members also receive a 30% saving on either programme. To access that benefit, contact The Campbell Academy directly and mention your Extreme Business membership when registering.
These Autumn courses offer an opportunity to enter 2027 with the planning work under way.
Before choosing, take a look at the plan you currently use. Does it explain what you want the practice to achieve, who is responsible and what needs to happen in the next 90 days? Could your manager use it to guide decisions while you were away?
If those answers are unclear, structured planning deserves a place in your diary.
The programme pages above explain both options. Choose the format that gives you the best chance of completing the work, then bring that plan into the coaching conversations that will help you put it into practice.
