On Monday, 6 clients shared with me their plans for expansion. These were in addition to other clients who have similar plans in progress:
Adding extra surgeries to an existing building;
Extending an existing building to add more surgeries, TCO consult rooms and staff facilities;
Looking for new premises from which to expand;
Looking for new sites to open squats;
Looking to buy existing practices.
In a recession, the best get better, the worst get worse, and the gap between the two gets wider.
This will be my 7th recession since 1973 - and once again, I'll enjoy working with those who make the best of it, because they know they have a bigger future.
