I’ve already used social media to express my thanks to Practice Plan for inviting Annie and I to our 4th Club Weekend and making us so welcome. The Melia Villaitana in Benidorm was a lovely resort and business hotel, far away from the fleshpots on the coast – the gala dinner on the Saturday in a breathtaking location. I’ve been a huge fan of Practice Plan since the company was formed in the mid-90’s and to see how they have evolved from the earliest days has been a lesson to everyone in dentistry of how to build a world-class business and an award-winning team. They have a Culture which we admire in BKH – and that shines through in everything they do. Pulling for each other, appreciating their strategic alliance partners and caring for their clients. On Sunday night, Annie and I were at a loose end and gratefully accepted the invitation to dine with 8 of the PP team who had stayed behind in Spain. Over an informal dinner, the ‘on-stage’ professionalism was maintained, whilst we howled with laughter over jokes and stories from the weekend – but at no time was anything said or done that could be taken the wrong way. The PP team really do love their jobs and take a positive view about everything they do. Every team member can be seen as an ambassador for the company, both on and off stage. How have Nick and the management team achieved that? By behaving as examples of that philosophy in everything they do. At BKH we are looking forward to developing our relationship with them and our own Culture. I truly hope that, in future years, a team member, client, supplier or partner of BKH would pen the same thoughts about us.
