If required, attendance at Study Club meetings for referring dentists the prior evening.

Total investment of £1000 per month per practice.

Ashby Dental Clinic, Wetherby, Yorkshire

When I first met Jack Cooke and Richard Moon they were in the process of reinventing a practice that Jack had bought from his retiring father. A village practice in Wetherby and also a city centre practice in Leeds, both of which have been providing dentistry for a generation.

During the time that we have worked together the Wetherby practice has moved from NHS to fully independent and private and has also relocated to new premises.

Strategically, the decision was taken to sell the Leeds practice and although this took considerable time due to current market conditions they are now able to focus their efforts and energies on one location which is much closer to their homes and closer to their hearts.

Along the way, I have worked with Jack and Richard on building an excellent management team to take the day to day operational controls for the business away from them.

We have rebranded and created sophisticated marketing systems.

We have implemented with the help of an external bookkeeper modern financial modelling and control systems.

We have measured the return on investment from their various marketing activities and we have also renegotiated associate contracts in order to ensure that they are fair to all concerned.

Along the way, we have continued to work with a team who are on brand and understand the way that the business needs to go forward.

The process never ends and we are about to enter a further year of coaching where we will be discussing the ways in which the business can be taken to the next level - including an extension to the existing property which will facilitate extra surgeries.
