How can we be expected to work in these conditions?

How can we be expected to work in these conditions?, originally uploaded by coachbarrow999.

I started at 6.00am this morning and have been hard at my desk all day,
except for a 30-minute coffee break at 11.00am, when I decided to wander
down to the beach café for a cappuccino.

The weather is glorious and this was the scene.

How I managed to get back to my desk and continue I don’t know –- pure will
power.

ItÂ’s 3.30pm and I have a 3-hour drive to Bristol airport at 5 oÂ’clock, to
catch a late flight to Belfast.

IÂ’’ve cleared my desk, my emails, my phone calls –- and my head.

So I think IÂ’’m going to pop back to the beach and read for an hour.

And on the subject of useless statistics:

I just calculated that I “send” an average of 536 emails every month.

Oh dear –- I need some fresh air.
